Manager, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) for an industry leading metals-alloys organizations in the Aerospace and Automotive verticals. Will be responsible for the design and development of an effective and sustainable centralized Sales & Operations Planning process to include integrating multiple locations (current decentralized) demand planning, supply planning, production planning, inventory planning, life-cycle management, and excess & obsolescence while considering capacity and constraints of manufacturing. S&OP Manager will operate as an individual contributor with ability to influence cross-functionally and drive S&OP vertically and laterally across the organization. Responsible for developing and leading monthly S&OP meetings addressing the forecast accuracy relative to sales vs. plan and capacity utilization to support the end to end supply chain. Must be capable of translating objectives and needs into deliverable strategy to achieve business goals and create a competitive advantage of the product portfolio. Focusing on building a world-class team, utilizing and deploying lean techniques, driving continuous improvement activities and achievement of superior performance across all KPIs (Key Performance Initiatives).
Background Required:
- Sales & Operations Planning (8 years minimum)
- Comprehensive knowledge of End -to End Supply Chain (5 years minimum)
- History of success designing and implementing S&OP in multi-site environment
- Statistical and Business Forecasting
- Manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding and use of KPI’s
- Knowledge of Lean Methodology
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (i.e. Engineering, Supply Chain, or technical related area)
